The Defenestrator

For this years Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project the fallowing elements had to be in all the films. The prop of a sandwich. The character of Kevin Schnabel an Expert (of any sort). The line of dialogue was "I hope they decide soon."

Then we drew our specific genre... *drum roll* SUPERHERO!

As always guys and gals your opinions and comments are always very much welcomed and appreciated! To the cast and crew all I can say is in just 48 hours we... Nailed this bitch! Without each and everyone of you working to your fullest we could not have pulled this off! Thanks, again. I hope to see you this time next year. Same Defenestrator time, same Defenestrator channel...

Nailed the Bitch!

I'll be posting the flick after the Premier at the
Riverview Theater this Thursday...

Oh, by the way I've got some stories to tell you all.
Another time, perhaps after a bit more recoup.

I'd like to take this time to thank everybody who made it happen. Nicki Andert, Daniel Steinberg, Justin Tholl, Clayton Ebeling, Sam Hanus, Mccrae Olson, Kassandra Langum, Joe Young, Carol Vnuk, James Norgard, Breanna Füss, Alana Bloom, and Ben Brady.
I owe all of you my greatest of gratitude.
We made magic!

Speical Thanks, also goes out to the Andert's for letting us invade their house, and claim it as both home base and lair. Frank from Excel Warehousing and Distribution for letting us use his warehouse. Jimmy John's for the sandwich platter to which I got none. Far too busy for food... Lastly, Rich Oxley for providing us with equipment, support, and guidance when we needed it... Thanks, a million to everyone.

Death Race (2009)

T-minus one day and counting to the annual
48 Hour Film Project for Minneapolis!

We went and got our equipment from the Ox at HTC today. Then later, Nicki (Producer) and I headed over to CostumeRentals to check things out...

I think the Kraut helmet shot speaks for this
places' epicness! It made the two of us very
confident even if we drew Fantasy, Sci-Fi, or
even Musical/Western! Maybe we'll do a MusicalWestern
about painting you wagon, and not dying from dysentery and such...

Less now. One day.

This really speaks for itself...

So many. Two days.

Battery

This was on of my final projects for last semester. It's more or less a proof of concept for an idea we've got in the pipe. It's gonna be fleshed out with a yin and yang or a good verses evil storyline.
It's going to be Brady verses Schroeder!
As soon as I get my hands on the JVC GY-HM100U
Any comments or critiques are very much welcome.

It's getting late. Four days.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Well it's only five days until the
2009 Minneapolis 48 Film Project!

I'm sure you've all been waiting... So here it goes.

THE GOOD

- James Norgard -
Is in Rob Perez's soon to be released Nobody as well as Fear of Girls III. He came to us very highly acclaimed by Matthew Feeney of Walden Entertainment. His audition just grabbed me.

- Carol Vnuk -
Is in A Young Heart which I did the behind the scenes for. She's also done several of these film races in the past. A real veteran of the game. She also came to us very highly acclaimed by Walden Entertainment. Oh yeah, and she does stand-up comedy. Good stuff.

They've both joined are team, and also once again Ben Brady and Breanna Füss are all on board for all the mayhem. We've also got a stab at Jahnna Randall. Depending on what we draw as our genre and if we got a role for her. *crosses fingers* for Detective/Cop. I only wish you all could have seen her audition. Epic.

THE BAD

Just how epic the film Tank Girl truly is in all it campy glory! She's just the girl, she's just the girl, the girl you want!

AND THE UGLY

Drawing names from a hat...

&

We still don't know our genre yet...
We can't. Five days.
